What this site collects

This website has no newsletter sign-up, no user accounts, no analytics and no tracking. It sets no cookies. Nothing is loaded from an external server while you read this page. The only place where you actively give me data is the contact form.

Server log files

The hosting provider automatically collects and stores information in server log files that your browser transmits. This includes browser type and version, operating system, referrer URL, host name of the accessing computer, time of the request, and the IP address. This data is not merged with other data sources. It is processed on the basis of Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR, the legitimate interest in the technically error-free presentation and security of this website.

Hosting

This site is hosted by Host Europe GmbH, Hansestraße 111, 51149 Köln, Germany. Host Europe processes the data described above on my behalf, under a data processing agreement according to Art. 28 GDPR.

Contact form

If you use the contact form, the data you enter, your name, your email address and your message, is sent to me by email and stored in my mailbox. I use it only to answer you. I do not pass it on to anyone else and I do not use it for any other purpose.

The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR, your consent, which you give by ticking the box before you send. You can withdraw that consent at any time by sending me an email. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before it.

I keep enquiries until the matter is settled and no legal retention period requires me to keep them longer. After that they are deleted.

The form is sent by the server of my hosting provider. No external form service is involved, and there is no captcha. A hidden field is used to keep automated spam out.

My email is received and stored with Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland, as part of the Gmail service. Google may process data outside the European Union. Google relies on the EU standard contractual clauses and on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework for this.

This site links to LinkedIn, YouTube and rabwah2045.com. These links only open when you click them. Nothing is loaded from those services while you read this page. Once you follow a link, the privacy policy of that provider applies.

Your rights

You have the right to information about your stored personal data, its origin and recipients, and the purpose of processing, and the right to correction or deletion. You can contact me about this at any time using the address in the imprint. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority.
